 United Seniors of Maryland Announces our USM FORUM When: Wednesday, January 28, 2015 Agenda: Breakfast Meet & Greet w/Legislators & Registration from 8am- 9am Leadership Program begins at 9am until 11:15am Caucus 11:15am-12:30pm Box Lunch 12:30pm-1pm Where: President’s Conference Center Main Floor West Wing MILLER SENATE OFFICE BUILDING 11 BLADEN STREET ANNAPOLIS, MD 21401 NEW SPECIAL LOCATION!!! First time!! Security Entry to Miller Building: Every attendee must show a Maryland issued State ID to enter the building and be screened. No exceptions. No sharps or arms are allowed. Attendees: Attendees are suggested to wear layers and good walking shoes. We are working on refreshments with details to follow. Speakers: Invitations to Leadership are going out now which includes our new Governor, President Miller, House Speaker Busch and Comptroller Franchot. Caucus: Caucus will be held as usual to advocate for seniors. Full payment must be paid in advance. You will be notified of your Caucus location after you register and check in at the front registration desk on the event day. Food: Light Breakfast and Box Lunch will be provided on site. Volunteers: USM always relies on our volunteers for this unique event. Please call Elizabeth at 410.608.7966 or email ew@elizabethcooneyagency.com to volunteer. If you volunteer then no registration fees to attend are required. Sponsors: If you were a sponsor during the 2014 Forum event and you want to sponsor again this year, USM will be applying your paid 2014 fees and sponsorship to this year’s event sponsorship. You must contact USM to activate this year’s sponsorship. We thank you for last year’s support and we look forward to seeing you during the 2015 Forum. Any new sponsor interests, please contact USM for details at 410.608.7966. Registration: Our USM website will have a PayPal account to register. Or if you prefer to mail a check, please mail payment in full to USM, P.O. Box 1094, Sparks, Maryland 21152. The fee is $15.00 which is the same for the past years. USM provides a full years membership to any attendee. You can opt out of the USM membership but you must contact USM to express your desires. Otherwise, all attendees receive the prized USM membership. If you were a fully paid 2014 Forum attendee, YOU MUST STILL REGISTER. USM is honoring all paid 2014 attendee fees for the 2015 Forum. If you fail to register and just show up at the door, we may have to turn you away. This special venue requires a full head count of attendees, security counts and potential refreshment counts. No refunds.

USM will assist with directions, parking directions and entry points. Notice: The 2015 Forum is a rain, snow or shine event. Only one date is secured to hold the event. USM will make the call as we did for the blizzard last year to cancel. Notice of cancellation will be on the USM website by 5:30 am, January 28, 2015. It is your responsibility to track our notices for this event. No refunds. We want all of our members, attendees, speakers and legislators to be safe.
